Come si puo' tradurre "the best that can be said" in italiano? Ho pensato a "Nelle migliori delle ipotesi" ma non credo sia l'esatto equivalente. GrazieEdit

Il senso credo sia proprio quello, "nella migliore delle ipotesi", come dire "al massimo...". Se ti serve una traduzione più esatta potresti darmi qualche indicazione sul contesto della frase...Suggest edit

Sto' traducendo un articolo di politica dal The Guardian. La frase esatta dice " The biggest risk that they took when they went into the coalition was to nail their prospects and Britain's future to Osborne's economic judgement. The best that can be said of that gamble is that it looks bigger than ever"
Io l'ho tradotta cosi': " @font-face { font-family: "Cambria"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; } Quando si è unito alla coalizione, il maggior rischio corso dal partito e’ stato quello di affidare le proprie speranze e il futuro della Gran Bretagna al giudizio economico di George Osborne; e quanto di meglio si possa dire a riguardo di tale azzardo e’ che sembri più oneroso che mai.
"quanto di meglio si possa dire" pero' suona un po' troppo letterale.
